Good .
Now for certain companies blatantly advertising "Kruger National Park" .
One lodge on the border of KNP does so on their safari vehicles doors , website , stationery etc .
KNP is sacred. I am opposed to the modernisation of Kruger and from the depths of my soul long for the Kruger of yesteryear! 1000+km on foot in KNP incl 56 wild trails.200+ nights in the wildernessndloti-indigenous name for serval.

What I would like to know is do these parks like Klaserie have open borders with Kruger, in other words, are there fences between them?

Then theoretically it could very well be a Kruger Ellie that was up for the hunt?

Yep.
But what is a "Kruger Ellie"? :hmz:
As far as I'm concerned they all should not be hunted for "fun and sports" :rtm:

I agree wholeheartedly.
but my feeling is that these lodges that insist on allowing hunting should have to reinstate the fences, but then I think that has been said somewhere before.

As sure as the traversing rights for border gate users will not be rescinded , the fences both on the western and the eastern borders will not be repaired .

Thanks Zakiya for your work behind the scenes!

The head of KNP Nature Conservation, Dr. Venter, has contacted me. KNP sees this in a very serious light and has acted further on the information Zakiya obtained. He wish to inform us that KNP has taken the issue up with reserve involved, and the outfitter will no longer be allowed to do business in that reserve.

Hi everyone

More good news on this topic.

After the discussions that SANParks had with the Game Reserve - a letter was sent to the person advertising the hunt.

In essence, the Game Reserve has told this person that he has been removed from the list of hunting outfitters for the forthcoming season due to his unprofessional behaviour which is jeopardising the Game Reserve's relationship with the APNR and KNP.

Have a good one!
