Morning all,

Yesterday was the start of yet another little project which hopefully will have an ongoing effect within the park, the communities and the guests visiting the park. Due to all the support we have received from ALL of you for the Cricket team, Tsamma Land etc etc it is clear that we will not be able to pay back what we have received, although there is one way we can try and do it and that is to 'Pay it Forward', this is the recipients way of thanking you all for the selfish donations and time offered without asking anything in return and of course the FRIENDSHIP.

Yesterday the Cricket team and the kids from Tsamma Land started by picking up rubbish from the main gate all the way to Tsamma Land - and what fun it was....

Back ground on the 'Pay it Forward" concept
The world can seem like an unfriendly, threatening place, yet we all want safety, health, and happiness for ourselves and our loved ones. How can one ordinary person -- you or me -- make a positive difference in this world? One way is the practice "paying it forward." While the steps might be simple, the outcome could create a sense of luck and good will that changes the world.

It should be something significant, and not for a person from whom you expect a good deed -- or anything at all, for that matter -- in return.

If the person thanks you and wants to "repay" you (that is, pay it "back"), let them know that what you'd really like is for them to pay it "forward" -- you'd like them to do something nice for three people they don't know, and ask those three people to do something nice for three more people. The idea is to consciously increase the goodness of the world.









The kids received some sweets from guests for their hard work.

Is that road safe for kids? As in scorpions and snakes, or are they aware enough of those dangers?

DuQues....seriously.......

These are the roads the kids play, ride their bikes and run around on every day. I think the pictures speak for itself showing that we had a vehicle right at the back (O..With hazards on). Vanessa walking at the back of the kids, and I was walking in the front of the kids. As it is very cold and snakes and scorpions do not like to be out this time of the year....yes it was safe. I think these kids know more about the dangers in the park and how they should react to danger as what many other people do.

We will not put anybodies (Guest or staff member) life at risk with such projects if we know that it is not safe to do so.

From time to time I do a 'random wanton act of kindness'. Where others just walk by, I get involved, sometimes to the extent that others might become embarassed, but I get a kick out of it, and usually the beneficiary appreciates it.

Pay it Forward. I like that!
