A very special prayer for Steven's recovery.

Please keep us updated.
As Ndloti said, we need him for the excellent work that he does.

Hi guys..

Some good news. I just spoke to Debbie English.
Steven was discharged on Friday from the Nelspruit NetCare hospital.

His recovery went very well. He had fractured the 7th vertebra in his spine. He was very lucky that nothing moved. Lots of cuts and bruises to his face and torso. After being in hospital a few days he had complications with his intestines as a result of the shock impact but that was fixed as well.

Debbie says that people who saw the aircraft and the accident says he is very very lucky.

He is currently in Graskop somewhere recovering at some family or friends house :) "Lying very still" according to Debbie :)

She asked that we thank everyone who is thinking of Steven and for those who have showed concern.

Good stuff Steven :) The forum is rooting for ya :)

Good news indeed. Steven I also pray that you will have a full recovery!

I would like to do something for you...How about me go and look after your place in KNP (Tshokwane) while nobody is there! I will mown the lawn, chase away the baboons/monkeys and in general see that everything is kept neat and tidy while you are away!

Baffers, yes that line seems a bit long, but I'm a handyman and that should count in my favour, so maybe someone could kick me to the front of the line!  8)

As per a colleague of his I can report Steven will revisit the surgeon in a weeks time for a follow up to decide if surgery will be necessary .
