Would Sharifa consider leaving some of the future pieces un-framed? I would love to be able to get in on this, but the chances of it arriving in Canada in one piece are probably slim to none, regardless of whether it is via the postal service, or my luggage. If it were unframed, it would be easier to ship, or maybe a pick-up could be arranged. I'm betting that other over-seas visitors would be interested too. It would be an absolutely priceless keepsake. Souvenir doesn't do it justice.

Just a thought.

Hi Timbits :yaya:

I am busy working on the one below for an Argentinian - unframed.

Are you interested in an animal or bird. The next three are all framed already but we can make a plan if you say what you interested in. I also do clocks - see here

Sharifa, do we always start with R 1000?

(And don't anyone think about trying to get Sharifa's second Argentinian. )

As Timbits, I'd also like to give an update:

Having just returned from our KTP trip, I was lucky enough that Sharifa allotted some of
her time to meet Spots and me at OR Tambo as this was the only chance to meet up.
With that we had a lovely meet with great chats and lots of laughter!

Like Timbits, we had to get on the small plane to Upington. Luckily, the flight in was
pretty empty, so lots of space in the overhead compartments. But then
I was a bit challenged regarding of how to keep my Lady safe and clean. It never occurred
to me to wrap it up like Timbits did, rather I asked Jannie to please keep her accommodated
for our two week trip which he kindly did. :k

I then wrapped her up in a huuuuge towel - also in order to keep her warm in cold Germany.

Now I enjoy her company and she mine in my warm living room. A proper frame needs to be
ordered still as we only got back yesterday. But we already now where she will be living from
now on and I'll post a photo then.

Thanks millions, Sharifa, for this perfect piece of art!!!  :k :gflower:

After 'only' ( ) 4 weeks waiting for the frame to get fitted, I now got my Lady
up to where she belongs.

This is how I look at her from my settee:

Once again, thanks Sharifa! :gflower:
