Thank you Scouter, Caracal and all the 'mites doing small things with great love

What do you all think of asking the children to do a decent size, colourful artwork expressing their feelings after receiving the gifts from our hearts. We can then even reproduce this as handouts, make a flyer (asking all visitors to "our park" for a small contibution) or auction or raffle the original work of art. All proceeds from this goes back to the children. This way they can also feel like contributing and doing more than just living on hand outs. We can ask the school to coordinate. I am sure that if the material to create this is not freely available, we can quickly organise something.....

MATTHYS - thank you - it really is a blessing to be able to give something back to our "home from home" and to be able to help out with those less fortunate and bring a little joy to the children this Christmas ...

The most AMAZING thing has just happened - I received my 20th PM of the day - from Barcud - all our children now have a present this Christmas - THANK YOU THANK YOU

I am just totally blown away by everyone - all the 75 outstanding presents accounted for in about 12 hours - you 'mites are truely an amazing wonderful bunch - I'm so proud of you all I could just pop

Tobieo - wow, that is an awesome idea - definately a possibilty to do something really exciting here - my daughter read your post and immeadiately thought about a calendar perhaps - or even one of those perpetual birthday calendars ??? Maybe the shops in the Park could sell them ????

You have now given me even MORE to think about ..... What do other 'mites feel ??

WOW!! What a wonderfull idea! Unfortunately I only read about the Xmas present drive after all the children were already allocated.

For those of us who missed out on this one, can't we maybe looking at getting some supplies for the Welkom school. I'm thinking in the line of stationary, educational posters for the classrooms, etc. OR whatever else is needed at the school. Jannie, please give some suggestions in this regard - if you think it is a feasible idea.

We will be in KTP from 11 Dec - still in time to deliver for the new school year!

Lono So sorry, the Christmas present idea just kinda happened and everyone responded SO quickly - what a wonderful idea to get things for the school though - I am sure it will be MUCH appreciated!

Maybe Jannie can let us know what is needed and can we OK this with the MODS too please
