Tracker and eblockwatch join forces to smash Rhino poaching syndicates

Eblockwatch says rhino poachers’ days are numbered.

A Dream Team has now been established aimed at tracking and smashing syndicates involved in illegal rhino poaching. Various players from the Intelligence Services and vehicle tracking company Tracker have joined forces to form an elite ground unit and it has been dedicated to arresting poachers and the people responsible for financing them.

Eblockwatch’s Andre Snyman says that Tracker has dedicated one of its best field operatives to the team, former Soweto Dog Unit member and Tracker law enforcement officer, Stroppie Grobbelaar. But Snyman says Grobbelaar will be using an entire backup team of Intelligence agents and the eblockwatch community network as well to pinpoint his targets. “We’ll take that information and hand it to SSG. SSG will turn it into intelligence and we’ll hand this to Stroppie and say ‘Go for it Stroppie’.”

The rhino has brought these specialised units and services together for the very first time. Eblockwatch has handpicked these people with the specialised skills, services and networks needed to solve a crime and made a dream team.

Take note that you, as an eblockwatch member are part of the dream team. Your function is to assist the team in gathering information, or by talking to people about the Rhino project and getting them to sign up. Send us what you have heard, know or have seen. Every email we receive will be captured and fed into Memex software which is like Google on steroids belonging to Ollie from SSG. The system will tell Stroppie where to catch the criminals.
If you have a game farm or know who has, please ask them to register. If you are involved in conservation please do the same. We are looking for helicopter pilots, farm watch groups, game rangers any person in conservation or farming to register.
Once we have information from you guys then SSG will feed it into their software and pin point where Stroppie and his team at Tracker will hunt the poachers down.
When we they hunting them down we will sms those members registered on http://www.eblockwatch.co.za" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; closest to them to help mobilise their security companies and security networks to assist.

I have this idea - and had been thinking about out for quite a while - and more so with the poaching getting worse and worse. I want to write articles or even a book to tell those chinese and whoever else is using the rhino horns that you don't need that in their medicines. they can use whatever else- calcium pills or whatever. I just need some help - people with medical/ medicinal background so that we can write this thing together ( and then someone to translate it to chinese..... ) and then just hope and pray that it will work.
