LD- I think that is pretty good, and it would be interesting to see what the other group says.
Stark- be pleased to see your effort too.
PNF...where are you?

As for how to distribute these stickers in the park, if staff doesn't do this, then how can it be done? Any ideas?

Hi Louis,

The two links I gave you in my last post are pretty self explanatory with regards to the rules of doing projects on the forum. And as I said too, the VHRs can work with another region on a project, no problem.

However there is a lot of prep to be done (on a proposal) before one even can really start, and what I have suggested to PNF is that we look at 'combining' the two projects (the one I linked to) as this will save a lot of 'double effort' as in the end both will be going through the same channels.

The VHRs are having a general meeting early next week and I will be taking this to them. In the meantime keep the ideas coming, have a look at the other topic I linked to, and lets see how things develop?

DB, i'm just worried that this idea will also die a slow death like so many other good ideas that come from the forum, that why i said that i will take it to my HR region as well. Will wait for a responce from you after you meeting.

Louis, the VHR region is very new, I think it is only fair you give them a chance AND this is a forum initiative, other forum members also should be included in it, particularly such as those who started the topic and those that have also contributed to this topic.

And wasn't EcoJunkie working on a pamphlet as well, in conjunction with Malelane camp/gate?

All in the pipeline......with VHR and KNP input. Unfortunately officialdom takes time wherever you are!

Hi KTF Hooked!
I'm still here - just been away a couple of days doing some bird photography. Am also awaiting feedback from DB from next week's discussions/meeting with the VHR's.

Thanks to everyone for the positive response to this idea.

@Rumuruti - quick count on maps from website give approx 156 for toiles/ablutions, 20 for reception area (camps and.or gates), 11 shops, 18 restaurants/cafe/take-away areas. I did not count the bush camps like Bateleur, Sirheni and Talamati, but included one for Biyamiti.

Can give you a breakdown of each camp if you want!

Will also try to check with the folk who put up the SMS campaign posters to see how many they did,

EJ, I'd say 60 poster (70x90 cm) will cover the reception restaurants and shops.
Then have 200 (30x42 cm) that would cover the toilets/ablutions.
Will work on samples and get them to you during the weekend.

Thanks again
