Dear WTM, W'H, GP, DB & MIA

I thank you for the important part you are playing in securing the future of Africa's wild animals, and her wild places, for the joy and benefit of generations to come.

Africa is the one of the last remaining reservoirs of what was once a worldwide treasury of biodiversity. Your sponsorship will help us preserve the precious legacy of this continent's natural environment, for our whole world.

With the help that you have given, we shall lay a strong and firm foundation for a healthy and beautiful earth, shared by all creatures.

Each brick that you sponsor has a unique identification number, which you should quote in any communications with the My Acre of Africa team. This will assist the team with any queries you may have - and will also help you locate the exact position of each of your bricks when they are laid at our unique Environmental Education Facility that is to be created in South Africa’s Kruger National Park.

Your Unique Identification Number/s:

2505

I welcome you to the My Acre of Africa initiative.

Warmest regards

Nelson Mandela

There is an article in Kruger Times dated 22/04/2007 about the Development Bank approving a loan of R56 million to My Acre of Africa.
The original vision was to sell five million bricks but only 3000 have been sold, 6% of the target
SAA and Total SA have sponsored R7.5 million over the last three years to keep the Kids in Kruger programme operational.
I bought my first brick in 2001 and got a bit upset because nothing happened but I now feel they are back on track so lets give them all the support we can :D

My Acre of Africa - What happened?

Unread postby Riaann » Mon Jul 16, 2007 5:40 pm

Can anybody inform me the latest news on My Acre of Africa ??? Some 2-3 years ago I purchased a brick in memory of my parents, but somehow nobody within the Kruger or SAN Parks can tell me what the status is! I would like to visit the site and see my 'special' brick/contribution myself.
