Crested Val and her SO, Dungy (Richard), will be in Pretoria for a few days end of April 2013, before they return to The Brecon Beacons National Park in the UK after a six month visit to South Africa. Since there are quite a few ‘mites living in Pretoria and vicinity, how about meeting them for a Cocktail party at the Blue Crane Restaurant on Friday, 26 April 2013 at 18:30 at the Lower Deck?

Since I am from the “old school”, I like to arrange things long before the time to ensure I get everything done, and also to ensure that everybody has enough time to decide without already having other appointments. The Blue Crane is located on the waterfront of one of the lakes of the beautiful Austin Roberts Bird Sanctuary, is not too pricy and their food is good. I will post directions closer to the time.

I need to know more or less how many people will attend before I make a booking.

Although Val and Richard will be our (Barryels and myself) guests, all expenses will be for your own accounts. (The platters will be more or less R80,00 per person, plus a cash bar.)

Everybody in Gauteng (and anywhere else) is welcome! Please add your names, and let's make their last night in South Africa a joyful one, filled with South African hospitality! We in Gauteng are due for a Meet anyway!
