Where can i get a yellow mirror sock.

What's a mirror sock? Okay I know what they are but we don't have them here. South Africa was the first place I have seen them. Do they exist elsewhere?

A stupid question for a Sunday morning........ Must a yellow ribbon only be tied to the drivers side mirror or also on the passenger side???

We tie one on each...if you are parked on the righthand side of the road a passing vehicle may not see the drivers mirror.

Also if you are parked at waterhole facing the waterhole a vehicle pulling into your left may not see it.

Our very first YR we saw was a bag, when we pulled into such a parking lot formation at a waterhole. A mite then pulled in between us.

Neither we nor the third mite were flying ribbons We have since (always).

I found a company but you can only buy in bulk (50+ pairs) and then it is affordable not like those they sold with the 2010 for R250 a pair
So I think after we have finalised our logo we can do a head count and order!

We spent the first two weeks of June in Kruger and, unusually, did not see a single yellow ribbon!!!

14 days in the park and I saw 0 other yellow ribbons. But I did have 1 current mite sighting (Madach) and a few former mite sightings.

I answered several questions about why I had a yellow ribbon on my car.

When Cheets and I was in the Kruger in March a women came up to us at sunset dam and asked if we were part of a wedding party because she saw many YR's that day and we tried to explain to her about the forum and she then asked about the red ribbons, eish after more explanations she came to the conclusion that we have a YR because we are stoutgatte...

These ribbons must have non 'mites thinking of love and weddings, Heksie

I wonder what gave them that idea? Was it maybe your facial expressions when explaining the ribbons to her?
