We met 2 yellow ribbons in the park this trip, the very lovely Penny and another lady who i'm sorry i forget your name, but we met you at our very special spot, and then the next day at croc bridge gate, although you didnt have a yellow ribbon, you said you were on the forum

Hi All,

If you see a Gold brown Toyota Fortuner with a black snorkel on the drivers side wrapped in a yellow ribbon, it will be me. Stop me for a chat! Have a look at the forum "When will I see Yellow Ribbons in Kruger" as to when and where I will be.

I do not chat on the forum that often, but read posts as often as I can. We will be going to the park in December for a couple of days and will be using the YR for the first time.

Am I correct in understanding that we can also use the Yellow Ribbon during our stay?
We have noted the other YR users at camps that we are staying at.

We will be pigging out on the Kruger experience this year since Erica has also now retired and we are no longer bound by dates etc. We always fly a yellow something on the vehicle but also don't see many others ...
We are regular visitors to Kruger from KZN and usually travel via Swaziland.

We drove into Shingwedzi last Wednesday and spotted our first yellow and red ribbons - Davejenny! :lol:

We were staying right next door to BluTuna who had his ribbon on the door handle! :thumbs_up:

We had forgotten all about our ribbons and we were duly reprimanded by Davejenny. :doh:

After Shingwedzi we went to Pafuri and met with Frank again. We were staying at the Pafuri Wildnerness Camp so our car was virtually parked up until Saturday morning. We drove all the way home to Randburg with our ribbons flying like streamers from the roof rail. I did eventually remember to take them off this morning before leaving for work. :lol:
