Remember that there's two different topics for YR...........one for the Kruger only and another for all the other parks...............

Not only should we pleeez fly the yellow ribbon, but also post our dates on the when, who, where list.
I know of 3 sets of mites being at Olifants on Sunday 11 and have arranged for us to meet on the viewing deck at 18h10 a mini meet however I am sure there are a couple more who have not recorded their dates

It worked   I had the pleasure of meeting Hilda & SO, Ralph and Lenny at Olifants. Another little thing I have started doing, I also carry extra yellow ribbon, or yellow scarfs should anyone require one. Lenny's luggage was "in transit" and so was their yellow ribbon, they now have a bright yellow scarf to use and keep as a momento :D

I am challenging all saffies to follow suit, meet one another and donate a yellow ribbon where needed, enjoy this Forum :D

I also carry extra YR with me just in case... You never know when it will be needed (and so far it was needed 3 times! )

I have a roll (okay only a small one) of yellow Tshirt material so if anybody requires a YR just ask. I also have my name posted on the back window of the car and caravan. So next time you see it pop in and we can party. (Bush style of course "quietly")

I had the YR flying for 7 days running up and down the KTP Mata Mata road and did not see any other, and I was not stopped by any other mite....very disappointing :rtm:

I cannot believe that there were no other FRIENDLY miites in the park! :cam:

Kgalagadi Guru said that there were a number of other mites from the Cape, but he only saw me with the YR :hmz:

Last month , met some peeps at Muzandneni picnic spot and I was asked about my YR and the purpose of it . When I explained , it turned out that they were also forumites , but were not aware of the "requirement " by mites to fly a YR :naughty:

My SO, son GlenD & his family were camping at Shingwedzi from 2 to 6 October 2011 and had some exciting nights with wind and rain storms trying to get us into orbit on 3 of the 4 nights. Still had a great time though and met up with Flutterby & Bushbrat (and dad Sharkie), as well as Bushbaby30 and Bush Mom. Also had a brief chat with Crested Val on the H14 headed for Phalaborwa gate. Nice to have met you all.

Chip :D

Luckily we were only in Shingwedzi the 3rd and 4th, but the 3rd was bad enough for me!
We went into the park with Mads and Vlakvarkvrouat Pafuri and Punda Maria, met up with GlenD, Chip and family in Shingwedzi and saw Flutterby and family (we think) in a distance driving into the camp but could not find them again. We then drove around with Crested Val and Dungbeetle2 for 2 days.
No other yellow ribbons however!
