Ahhh WD...just because the Pond Watch thread was axed doesnt mean to say we arent continuing to soak (dead) chickens in witblitz, place them on a nicely tuned braai, and sending them out as Bang and Bounce 'Chicken to Go' take aways.

We are concentrating on delivering them to customers only within the KNP perimeter because we had quite a dust up with authorities about violating airspace when we aimed them across Mozambique at ships in the Mozambique chanel (although we did land one on Inhaca Island, right next to the hotels swimming pool!).

We have, however, stopped including cole slaw salad as an optional extra with the Witblitz Chicken as the container kept falling out of the bag as it was flying. It was then landing on trees which set off the local arboricultural community who thought they had discovered some new tree disease.(They actually sent a sample to Kew Gardens in the UK to have it tested  )

(One tourist saw an ellie wondering across the S100 with coleslaw dripping down one ear but when he reported it they didnt take him seriously and instead had him breathalysed)

Florence sends her love and says the wedding invitations are on their way.

Check you later 8)

(But probably not here!)

We had three of those wit blitz chickens on the mini meet SZ. They are even popular down here in Gauteng! We also had coleslaw that Wild made, njam njam (the elephants in the Park will love her coleslaw) and Cracked whipped together a spicy rice masala of some sort which was just as delicious. Then there was oven baked potatoes that InyatiSO made. The potatoes was nearly as BIG as watermellons. I do not know where you buy those... :hmz: I wonder why I did not take snaps of the food?? :hmz:

For dessert I made a fabulous fruit tart which every one wanted the recipe of. It was beautifully decorated with peaches and strawberries and marulas and bananas....

The braai would have been more awesome if it was next to Satara pond....sigh....
and if OZ and Snow were there. JenB was welcome too. But I think she was scared....

that is right! we did invite jen, but i think she took us all very seriously [ perhaps thought that she might end up with the chickens?]
immagine a braai at satara on saturday night - with inyati making those little pork strips for us to nibble on. mmmmmm and you kid not about those potatoes - were they on steroids?

Aus Range, are you still hiding in that akward lying bush behind the pond? I am sure I heard you giggle when that zebra nudged you with her nose!

And what with the ground around that bush? Are you going to plant some mealies there?? :naughty:

Aqua5, do you seriously think those "pork" strips were "pork" strips?
When will you ever understand? And to think you also had some of them! Njammies!
What about that wonderful cheeseloaf, hot and melty...
Oooohhh! We must do it again, preferably in Kruger!
We must get SZ and AR over here - will have a collection for airfares - how's that!
