And so the game continued with Wanderw chosing a present from the table....a lovely fondue set with two huuuuuuuuge slabs of chocolate.




Can you see the look on Hugh's face...it was her turn next and she had her every moved planned. Yes dear sweet quiet Hugh was about to steal...and she did it with such a sweet smile.....but thank you Rookie I shall have that book !!!!





Hugh was verrrrry pleased with herself.....do you see the potjie on Scouter's lap in the above photo. Well Rookie had to play so .......well you can see what she stole.



So Scouter being minus the potjie chose from the table....a bag full ofgoodies...torch/biltong/amarula....mmmmmmmmmmm

nice to see everybody laughing

Hope you could make head or tail of my notes as to who stole what from whom and then what got replaced with what etc.....

Eagerly awaiting the next episode!

PS: I thought you said that no photos would be posted where we didn't look like a million dollars....if this is what a million dollars looks like, I am glad I am poor!

Thank you so much for sharing your lovely meet with all of us Caracal! You are such a happy group of people, and I love all those smiling, laughing faces! What is more, we can now put names to most of the faces!

And so the game continued....TonyT's SO chose from the table..a useful flask and some yummy eats




And then it was Tony T's turn.....
Oh dear.... being the gentleman that he is he apologised most prefusely for what he was about to do...but he did it anyway ...he stole the cheetah print from Munchkin. Poor Munchkin was devastated. It was safe in Tony T's hands..the print having been stolen 3 times could no longer be stolen....



But half crying half laughing she very quickly yanked the book from Hugh....



Hugh was shocked but sharp and she grabbed the potjie from Rookie.

and that could no longer be stolen.

Rookie recovered quickly and within seconds she had grabbed the book from Munchkin...poor Munchkin..she was having a hard time.....

Munchkin chose from the table...a nifty little knife sharpener. I think her SO was thrilled with this present.
Arks went next and also chose from the table....coffee mugs and yummies.



I was next and everybody was expecting me to steal the sherry but I fancied the fondue set...Wanderw was not happy with me. Wanderw then chose from the table .....



There was one more present on the table and one more person to play...Doug. He considered his options ( the present was wrapped in pink Little Miss Kitty paper) but decided against stealing and helped himself to the pretty little pink present. He was extremely happy with his multi-tool that was wrapped in pink paper.... You were clever there Hugh !!!
And that the brought the thieving game to an end....it was now time to get on with the serious busines of braaiing.

Again we had a wonderful meet...some mites could not make it and they were missed , good to see the regulars again and wonderful to meet Buglette. And although Arks has been to a meet or two in Cape Town it was her first "Silly Season" meet.
Thank you to all for the lovely food, the wonderful presents and all the laughs. I have said it before and I will say it again....The Cape Town 'Mites Rock !!!!!!!!
