Do anyone have the menus for the Shingwedzi, Punda and Mopane restaurants? Since they are not M&B or CB.

Mikath, in which camps are you staying?

Different camps have different restaurants, and having eaten at most, I can safely say the food is nice and fairly priced. They stay open to accommodate folk coming from the Sunset drive at 8pm, and close at 9pm. But check at reception when you book in.

Hi Dinky Bird
Thanks for your reply. We are so so excited coming back to Kruger we have missed it dreadfully after a health scare of which I am fine it just took a bit of time to come so far from home but after going to the Caribbean in January we are now on our way. We are hoping to go to Lower Sabie, Satara, letaba and maybe one a bit further up North I am still in the planning stage

We gave KNP a miss for a couple of years, also because of the restaurants. Back last year we just missed CB.So this year we went to CB twice. Brilliant! The atmosphere is beautiful, the staff are verr professional and the food is delicious. They even serve fish! which for someone who is not really a meat eater is a godsend. We told the night manager that we were very satisfied.

We ate out quite a bit during our recent visit, we used the Satara, Letaba, Olifants and LS Mugg and Bean, we were fairly pleased with all of them but LS definitely needs some work on quality. At one point we had to send back a croissant which had been nuked within an inch of its life.

We ate at Shingwedzi and it was really delicious but also fairly pricey. For dinner for 2, only cold drinks and then 2 x Don Pedros we paid over 400 rand which felt like a lot. We told the waitress to give our compliments to the cook as it was so tasty and she beamed back at us and told us - I am the cook :D - It was lovely to see how pleased she was with the feedback !

Mikath, you can then enjoy yummy pizza from Debonairs at Satara, and also choose from a varied Mugg and Bean menu at LS, Satara and Letaba. Enjoy the planning; such a fun part of the trip!

No, no restaurant, just the shop at the moment.
