Hi - wonder what is happening to Kruger park - went to the park today and as we have little kiddies we like to go for a short srive and back to the shop for a breakfast as a treat for the family. We were informed today that they are not going to serve any other food but toasted sandwiches.............is this true.
So sad as we live close by and not having much other entertainment we oftern take the family there for a hamburger or waffles - and their breakfast is a real treat as a housewife who has had a busy weak and need to just get someone else make her a meal. Can someone please shed light on this. To add to this - we often caravan with the little ones at Crocodile and have a meal there to share the burden.
Dear Forum members
The management of Crocodile Bridge shop has decided that as from mid July they will no longer offer full breakfast but instead coffee and toasted sandwiches will be offered. The Crocodile Bridge shop is not supposed to be having a kitchen. It was initially establised to sell groceries and curio products. It has discovered during the Occupation Health and Safety evaluation tour that the kitchen is not in line with services that the shop should be rendering to the customers.
Since the shops are not under SANParks Management we have forwarded your suggestions to the relevant management concerned for their consideration. We hope that they will look at ways to apply for the relevant licence to have the kitchen back in operation.
Why has it taken so many years to find this out??? We are there for 3 nights in August and had not planned to eat toasties. Not a very professional situation for all parties concerned.
