Thanks for all of the help. I think I almost have a plan. Just a couple more questions.
Updated itinerary: I am trying to start north and work my way south
Day 1 drive from Johannesburg to Opren camp
Day 2 (day 1 inside) Opren to Letaba and back
Call in at Olifants on the way there or back
Day 3 (day 2 inside) Opren to Skukuza
Day 4 (day 3 inside) skukuza to Satara and back
This might be repeating some of the drive you did the day before
Day 5 (day 4 inside) skukuza to lower Sabie or crocodile bridge
or should I do Skukuza to malelane?
You could do both - it would be a long day and a lot of driving, but you could do the round trip.
Day 6 (day 5 inside) Lower sabie to tshokwane and then exit the park
or malelane to pretoriuskop and then out?
It depends on where you are going next and how long you have to get there.
How does this look?
Im guessing that these should all be morning drives correct?
what should I do for evenings?
if I stay in crocodile bridge can I still do Lower sabie to tshokwane?
In June you can stay out all day, the heat shouldn't get to you like it would in summer. Make sure you stop and have a leg stretch at the designated get out stops and have plenty of snacks and drinks in the car.
Don't try to plan too much. Having an idea of where you want to go is good, but be prepared to change if you hear about a decent sighting somewhere else.
In the evenings I tend to have a shower (saves getting up earlier than I need to in the morning and head off to the restaurant, then wrap up and sit outside and listen to the night sounds. Or you could light a braai. You'll be tired anyway so go to bed early ready for getting out of the gate at 6am the next morning
