Suddenly there was loud trumpeting - we assumed from the matriarch - the herd immediately turned and stormed out of the water

When all of them were on dry ground, peace returned. They slowly moved away from the dam - another magic Kruger experience!

Does anyone know what happened to the 2 hippos that died during the dry season in the dam? I was there and they were lying in the middle, stuck in the mud... We were pretty sre they were dead. Did they float away or are they stil at the bottom? thanks :)
