Always something happening at this dam . Saw this Marabou stork in April ; he had a broken wing
Wonder what happened to him , although I very much doubt whether he survived at all :hmz:

Hi Vicrob,
I was in Kruger at the same time as you in April but my pics of the pride were taken last September.
Cheers

Visited Nsemani on 01 June 2013 hoping to catch a glimpse of the Grey Crowned Crane that was hanging out there earlier in the week. No luck with the crane but had two herds of about 30 elephants each coming down to drink. Interaction between the two herds were quite interesting. I was just sitting back and enjoying the moment so only managed these two shots.

Nsemani dam has been good to me too - in 2011 - I saw a pride with cubs, lots of ellies, the majestic fish eagles and a croc that caught an impala. Then on another occasion, the lionesses came from the other side of the bridge and from the dam side stalking impala, close, but no luck... :slap: Not sure which year it was, I was sitting there when a car askes the occupants of another car if they had seen ?? this today?? The vehicle immediately drove off and I decided to follow. On the S36, about a kilometre from Muzandzeni Picnic spot, some more lions and a leopard with a kill high up in a tree...

I need to learn to upload photos, soon...

A lioness at Nsamani dam... Believe or not but shortly after this photo was taken, there was a hunting attempt, but unfortunately unsuccessful... :(
