For me and my family that go every year.. for sure Berg-en-dal!! :D :thumbs_up:
We always have the best sightings there of the big 5 and of all small game, around every corner there is a animal or bird. It is also nice and quiet on the roads and does not have a car pile up at every sighting :clap:
We also have great luck with leopards there and always see at least one a day.. :dance:
In the evenings we usually go for a walk around the camp and we have often seen elephant and other small game right next to the fence. :)
We also always, since I can remember see wild dogs on the day we leave Berg-en-dal's camp, the best going away present! :lol: :dance: :cam:
Can't wait to go this year!! :mrgreen:

So... first real visit to Kruger NP coming up next year (up till now only day trips when pssing through part of it). And I got bored at the office so I decide to put all of your favorite places mentioned in this thread on a Google Earth Map (purple icons), hoping to derive from this where I have to go.

I got this;

Seriously guys... mission failure! Can't you all get along, and tell me there's just one, maybe two spots max where I have to be?! :-D

Ah well, I guess I'll need to stay a bit longer than initially planned then.
But hey, if the missus asks why, I'm pointing to all of you 'CAUSE IT'S YOUR FAULT! ;-)

By the way, why do some places get no love from you at all? Like the road Malelane - Skukuza (where Jock Safari Camp is). Or the area at the "back" of Manyeleti Reserve (where Imbali Safari Lodge is, and Ngwenyenu dam). And how about the Mopani - Phalaborwa road? Etc...

Ciao,

J.
