Hmmm .. Now that would be nice Matthys :) Except for the Shingwedzi river you don't need a boat :naughty:

My, but you bunch of anti-social mites

would like my house on the perimeter of Skukuza, close to the shops and the banks - can play golf twice weekly and enjoy all the sociability of the South
(and a little weekend cottage in the bush somewhere for long weekends and school holidays  )

I can't take my blankets

I would opt not to stay in one place all the time, ideally I would want to have a mobile home and then I can spend a certain amount of time in different areas of the park, only exiting when necessary to buy supplies and to do a few errands, living in the park must be pure bliss and something I would never ever get tired or bored with. The bush is so unpredictable, everyday will be as exciting as the one before

Any spot that overlooks the Kanniedood dam near Shingwedzi … or a spot when approaching Satara from Olifantskamp amongst the Marula trees. I can just imagine the peace and quiet and those sunrises and sunsets …

What a perfect question to ask for an imaginary trip to Kruger and what is nice about the question is that a person can change one’s mind for that ultimate perfect spot over time with no building cost involved … :D

BB, GM, they will build in the 2 km peripiral development zone, so you can keep you house, but it might turn to Timeshare. ROFLMAO.

I would just take over the Klopperfontein or Nhlangulene gamerangers house.

GM, Timeshare makes money, and then you give peeps the oppertunity to erect houses, charge them a levy, and give them their own private roads. And Boom, financial problems for SANParks solved.

But Scipio your horror story should not be part of the Kruger dream house with endless vistas over the savannah, blue skies, lots of animals and quiet Amarula evenings . Not greedy time share landlords on your doorstep rubbing their hands together for money and looking for places to build and develop :?

Aah . . . that would be that house called Mondzo. It is already there, you just need to where to find it.

(Mondzo is Shangaan for Leadwood, by the way. Not Marula, but close enough).

A house overlooking Sunset Dam would also not be bad either - many sightings of birds and animals. Not so sure about the ongoing traffic though :hmz:

I'd love a house built next to Olifants camp overlooking the river
