Bush Baptist, you have got it right, especially at Tamboti   , where we will be very soon

Thanks for reminding me.

After all the chops and wors had been eaten, the last cup of coffee been drunk it is a shower and then bed - the last of a perfect Kruger day that I see is the familiar thatched roof of the Rondavel and then I know – tomorrow morning before the crack of dawn it is breathing fresh Kruger air once again.

Like most people we enjoy going to bed early, SO and the boys are normally in bed between 20h30 and 21h00 and I go outside, switch off all the lights and have a drink just taking in the sounds of the night.
When my head hits the pillow I relive all the wonderful happenings of the day and fade away.

Fire lit, glasses "charged", and then the joy of just absorbing the sounds and smells - best part of the day to reflect on all that "is" Kruger - sigh

After braaiing and eating I would make another fire and sit outside our caravan and drink a beer or whiskey or 2 and just listen to the crackle of the fire and the Kruger night sounds, adding some wood every now and then.........oh that's the life :)
