Krugerpark is the best.

I have been to the Kruger in Feb.2003 and 2004 for 2 weeks
every year.
The Kruger is very nice and beautiful and a lot of game.
Those 2 weeks I went from the South to the North and visa versa.
I lived in S.A. from 1980 to 1982 and I went on High School.
In 2003 went back for the first time , and this was an
experience I never forget.

In 2007 or 2008 I want to go back to the Kruger and now
I take my wife with me to see the magnificant kruger.

As a regular visitor to KNP, at least twice a year, and now -lucky me - every TEN DAYS - i would be happy to give advice and opinion/feedback, , if anyone is interested.
This would be for the camps in Central and Southern Region of KNP.
I believe i can give a fairly good opinion on Camping especially, as well as most of the Camps. Share good game viewing areas and game drives on 'special' roads.
I am an avid birder, but also strive to be a better than average wildlife photographer.

This December, am taking eight nights in the North! Will be Hot, but so what?? Will be staying at Letaba, Sirheni, Bateleur, and Tamboti camps. Anyone with Feedback for me on Sirheni?? where i have never stayed??

PS Saw 2 new-born impala on the 27th November near Croc Bridge. Umbilicals still bloody and mothers very tired. But for the next few days, not another youngster in the area, where there are thousands of Impalas (Croc Bridge/ Lower Sabie)!!

Yes, it is work related... when my ten days work are finished, it takes me one hour - border formalities allowing - to be in Croc Bridge from Maputo... and then i can chill for a few days. So able to explore lots of roads and wait it out if things look promising ... which is the most rewarding way to do birding and game viewing... and never a boring moment because you are always surprised at what happens next?!

Will let you know of my impression on Sirheni, thanks for pointing me in direction of feedback on the camp.

I am new to this whole "Forum" thing. I didn't know were to go to read and post messages untill I saw your "work related" message. I figured this will be a great place to post most of my writing.

What a job, you need anymore employees?

Why is that when anyone from anywhere comes together to talk about the magnificent Kruger, everyone seem to click and chat like family. Not a care in the world when the mere thought of the peaceful bush comes to mind.

My personal thought is that Balule is the best camp for me in the Kruger. You can visit nearby camps, like the awesome view at Olifants and the lion filled open field at satara. Then there is the unbelievable sounds at night from the bordering river. Lions on this side and that side of the river trying to compete for the loudest roar. It is such a beautiful small camp were you can really experience the bush.
