Wouldn't it fantastic to see this captured as a painting by one of the great landscape artists.

That is a beautiful photo. We saw a lion there last month, walking along the bank with tons of impala and waterbuck all around. We were so excited, we thought we were going to see a kill but he was just out for a leisurely stroll. The animals were nervous but didn't run, When the lion walked off into the bush, one of the waterbuck followed from a distance and then safely returned a few minutes later. I guess he just wanted to make sure the lion was really gone.

Lovely photo.
Really captures the atmosphere.

My best sighting at this dam was a few years ago. A huge herd of buffalo

I always visit Kumana with great expectation, have had many wonderful sightings here over the years.
On this occasion the fog had just cleared enough to give the early morning sun the opportunity to paint a picture I had to capture.
Thanks to all for the kind words.
