MM, good observation. In everyday life, the ticker description fits me perfectly so when I go to the park or for a spot of angling (Catch and Release of course) I make sure I am in spaceman mode. Gives me an even better rest.

If i didn't, Mrs Elephus would have migrated ome time back

Dear All

Thanks for all the (funny) posts - really-eally enjoyable! Even those disagreeing with me...

Re-gret-ta-bly I'm back at the salt mines, but thought I'll pop in tonight to see what's happened in my absence... [Now that everyone on the Forum thinks I am weighing in at 160 bricks  , I need to restore my reputation (again!) - I think it is very funny [ironic?] that nobody reacted to my comments on the elephant's trunk thread re my weight - In actual fact, the lack of response has now confirmed my (and hubby's) fears/suspicions - i.e. people believe what they see and what they read! Alternatively, you are just an exceptional, well-mannered, well-meaning, decent bunch of animal lovers? :!: Now please read carefully: I'm actually very skinny, well-built, dynamic, won quite a couple of beauty pageants in my younger years, appeared on the front cover of a plethora of magazines, was recently a finalist in Mrs SA, nominated as medical practitioner of the year, AND to top it all, Housewife of the year...]

In any event, back to this thread:

Bunny Hugger - FOFLMFAO? Oops, doesn't know what it means, but it sounds as if you are intoxicated by our verb bossity... Come to think of it, it seems like an abbreviation for supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!

Ndloti -

MM - that list of yours - SPOT ON! Come to think of it, what list of yours was I referring to? Now, let me see, was it on this thread or another thread... Gmpff - my mobile is ringing, now where is that cell? For the life of me, I can't remember. Maybe it's in the fridge? Your ...Most of us have a little of both... - I tend to agree!

BB - that cooler bag of yours - we must have bought it at the same sale? Or is mine neon green with orange flowers? I'll have to check and revert to you on that one...

Elephus - couldn't agree with you more!

PS. Nope, mobile not in the fridge, but in the microwave - a little melted, but hey, reception is still great!

:yaya:

The other day, I as out riding my bicycle and 60 km from home, I found a herd of them.

Hi Bunny Hugger - For me, a 60 km bicycle trip would probably entail an ambulance return trip.

Hi TheunsH - :naughty:

Skinny or well built? the 2 are mutually exclusive
Beauty pagents? Miss Brakpan 1953 AND 1954?
Cover appearances? Landbou Weekblad? Police file?
Mrs SA finalist - best cook/cleaner?
MPOY? which? doctor?
Housewife of the year? yarn spinner?

Was your prize a new 5-speed automatic broomstick like Caracal's

:funny: BB :funny: TheunsH

Hi BB - For the record:

Skinny or well built? the 2 are mutually exclusive.

Uh-uh. No, not at all. Although I'm relatively skinny, I've won many a body-building contest in my years. I thought it better not to add to my list of accomplishments, as I did not want to be perceived as a bragger - afraid it might seem a teeny-weeny bit egotistical...

Beauty pagents? Miss Brakpan 1953 AND 1954?

No! I won many regional, national and international competitions! And you are waaaayyyy off with your dates. I was not referring to the years that you were ± six years old...

Cover appearances? Landbou Weekblad? Police file?

No, don't be dof. On the covers of Panorama and in the glamorous 'black-and-white photo story books' - Doctor Tessa, Ruiter-in-Swart, Arend, etc. Not on police file, I got a default judgment against them, i.e. they are not allowed to publish my photo without paying ROYALTY fees!

Mrs SA finalist - best cook/cleaner? Uh-uh. Bottle washer.

MPOY? which? doctor?

Does not know what MPOY stands for - but no again! In charge of bed pans, bottles and false teeth at any hospital/clinic that is willing to pay me more than R20 per hour.

Housewife of the year? yarn spinner?

No again. Desperate Housewives!

Was your prize a new 5-speed automatic broomstick like Caracal's

Yes, right at last! How did you guess? You must be clairvoyant! But the broomstick only runs on unleaded fuel, came with power steering, built in cd-player with four speakers, voice recognition, GPS and ABS breaks!

TheunsH - as BB has none (and I quote), thank you for the compliment!

billyf - Duh, I was referring to my reputation on the bush toilet thread - the one where you pointed out that I was notorious.

:yaya:

Sorry Elzet - you will remain the notorious bush-spotter.

That has nothing to do with this thread - BTW have you tried Pilatus excercises, supposed to help with controlling the old cheap, Korean made bladder

Hi Billyf, it's got everything to do with this thread - i.e. I don't plan my trips according to meals, roads or time nor picnic spots (read loo's) in particular - i.e. I'm not a ticker!

Yip, I am a Pilates instructor! (Didn't I mention it previously?).

The bladder was actually imported from Kazhakstan. By the way, Mike and I are waiting for you re the Elephant's trunk thread.

Why are we waiting, why are ....

:yaya:
