There is a herd between 1200 & 1400 close to Letaba, seen it on Sunday. :thumbs_up: Also a few others in the Phalaborwa Gate, Mopani, Letaba triangle. :whistle:

Not only that. There are predators all over the place or are these wannebee cows learning to deal with them as the Botswana buffs does with the marshlions?
Just simply attack them in full force.

The Big herds has a definite impact on the predators in the area, we have a high concentration of Lions in the area, really high. :big_eyes:

I have noticed, last August, that we have seen more lions than in the years before and reading your and Sprock's reports I gathered that there are even more now.

At the moment if you want to see Lions, don't look for them. Stick to the Buff's, the Lions will soon appear. :thumbs_up:

i heard bout 2 years ago there were about 60 lion prides with a av. of 12 lions per pride in the letaba area.

lions...satara...s100 i don't thin so, i believe there is a higher population of lions in iceland then around satara
