Thank you all for the compliments, although we did get to have 7 sightings of five different leopards in the KTP, the photos of the leopards here were taken at Mala Mala Game reserve in the Sabi Sands, Mpumalanga. Camera used is a Canon 500D and lenses a Canon 70-200mm F4 & Canon 18-55mm.
@Fotomaljohan: there were four +/-6 week cubs and they were at the Union's End picnic spot, their tracks indicate that they had been all through the picnic spot during the early hours of the morning and by the time we got there from Grootkolk they were slowly moving off west into shade.
The caracal was a young male, (who looked a bit scruffy, perhaps not that healthy) seen at 7.05AM on the 13 Nov just south of Houmoed in the Auob river. He walked casually across the riverbed, stopped and groomed a bit and then equally casually walked across the road and up the western dune with no apparent fear of the cars.
Other sighting highlights were 3 cheetah sightings (1 chasing springbok), 2 brown hyena, spotted hyena with cub, bat eared foxes, cape fox, herd eland and at least 10 lion sightings,
All in all a rewarding trip.
