Hi All,

We often come up with different collective nouns when in the bush for fun. I thought I'd post this here and see what you can come up with...

The idea is pretty much as follows:

Collective noun for Ellies is herd but it could also be:

A flap of ellies

What else could it be?

'Trunks' full of ellies?

If one come across a lot of downed trees one could call them "a destruction of elephants".

Sad, but true.

That sounds a bit like poached ivory ... and not sunny side up

A tusk of ellies? A trumpet of ellies?

Ivory collection also sounds like poaching.

Buffaloes... an oven full of pasties?
