IUCN's Species Survival Commission (SSC) and the International Primatological Society (IPS), in collaboration with Conservation International (CI)

The 2008-2010 report lists five primate species from Madagascar, six from continental Africa, 11 from Asia, and three from Central and South America, "all of which are the most in need of urgent conservation action."

...that at one stage the northern section of Kruger was closed during the summer months. Only P/kop, Skukuza and Olifants remained open all year round. The rest of the camps were closed from 16 Oct to 30 April.

Did you know that the eastern boundary fence with Mozambique in the southern KNP has been in a dilapidated condition for a number of years ?

Did you know the Antbear or Aardvark (Orycteropus Afer) have jaws with curious teeth..... each of which have as many as 1000 to 1500 dentine-filled tubes cemented together into a tooth..... hence the name of their order....'tubulidentata' Why they have teeth is not known as they playvirtually no part in the mastication of their food
