Eggs laid late afternoon or evening of every second day. Incubation is from 39-53 days..

This bird is an omnivore and can occur in flocks of 30-40 birds when not breeding. Male mostly black. Female mostly brownish grey..

Nope..

Habitat is bushveld to desert. They may gather at waterholes in desert regions with about 600 in the flock.
When breeding they are monogamous but if the years are dry a male will have up to 3 females.

Nope..

The iris is hazel, legs lead grey but front scales are red in breeding males..

They run with their wings out for balance. Legs are bare to top. Neck nealy naked, bristly.
