I love this road , it always has lots of game , its open so you can see animals from far distances

I find that to see the Big 5 and cheetah , this is the road you must take

Its better than the H4-2 anytime

Yout thoughts ?

I agree 100% Carrim

If you take a look at a Kruger map that includes eco zones, it is clear that it going to be a grazers delight, it is has lots of open savannah allowing for great sightings.. the many grazers also means a predators delight.

Big 5?!

I have had great sightings, albeit not plentiiful, of eles, white rhino, cheetah, Verreaux's eagle owl, tawny eagle etc on this road, but it is not full of animals.

and search for Duke too... in vain :(
not a lot of sightings, but some beautiful, like Bufaloes vs Lions

Good road for cheetah

Have seen all of the big 5 on this road. Will always find zebra and warthogs on this road.

Northern section good for Amur Falcons and Lesser Kestrel in Summer

We have had wonderful sightings on this road and never fail to drive it as often as possible!

Saw Duke 3 times, Lion ++ plus 3 little cubs, had several Cheetah sightings, Rhino, Ellies and a Leopard plus some great bird sightings and general game.
So you can see why we love this road.

Picnic?

the only 'picnic' I have seen on the S28 was in 1995 when a cheetah took down an impala and then 4 hyenas robbed him.
