In Mopani Camp there is a tree/shrub named in honor of what I deduct from the name, a French person. It is prominently marked but I cannot remember the name of the person and no further information is provided. Does anyone perhaps know what the history is behind this shrub/tree and the naming of this specific specimen? I always look at it but with no clue what the story behind it is.

Hi Grantmissy, i am sure if you contact Garth Holt (Mopani Camp Manager), he will be able to assist you. I am not sure of a E-mail address, but this is the Telephone number: 013-7356535/6. He will be back at the Camp tomorrow. Hope this helps.
