Please note that we do not have a trail which starts at Mopani. However, since Shingwedzi was closed after the floods we have decided to move Mphongolo Trails to Mopani until the situation is back to normal. If you are referring to Mphongolo Trails; The trail stretches over 4 days and three nights, with departures every Wednesday and Sunday between 1 February - 30 November. . See below link for more information on our trails http://www.sanparks.org/parks/kruger/to ... efault.php

Thanks Stephens. I was referring to the little trail in the camp though - isn't there one along the perimeter?!

I've no idea how long that little 'trail' is, but it likely won't take you more than an hour at most to walk it, depending of course on what you see. When I walked it (a few years ago), I saw a pair of ellies quite close and watched them for quite some time as they seemed indifferent to (tho aware of) my presence. I also saw quite a variety of birds, including giant kingfishers. I found the walk very enjoyable!

Indeed it is. The best part of it is, trying to establish the
end of it. Ended up in the swimming pool area!!!
