Some pics of our family Cottage FF4 at Shingwedzi where we stayed in March this year.

A plaque on the side of the outside wall.

The view to the back of the unit, would be great if they were facing in that direction!

Kitchen/dining area

Plates on the wall in the dining/kitchen area

One bedroom/en suite bathroom which has 2 single beds pushed together.

Another view of same room

The other bedroom, double bed and en suite bathroom

Another view, note the pics on the wall!!

Not a bad cottage but it did look rather tired in places and definitely needed some TLC which we did report in a feedback form and directly to the reception at the time.

Hi Elsa

Thanks for your pictures. Do you remember what unit number it was? I tried to look at the photo and can see a A but what is the number?

Enjoy your day

I think we stayed in that Shing cottage 2 years ago and I think it was the only one like that.
It is short of space for "gathering" and putting down binocs as it only has that quite small table in the kitchen and no other chairs or open areas other than the bedrooms.

Hello Again mites

This thread has been quiet for some time now, So I think it's time to visit kruger again and make some more pictures.

So were off to South Africa in 10 days time, will be staying in the following camps in kruger ... Pretoriuskop, Skukuza, Satara (will also stop for a quick visit at Orpen, Malelane, Tamboti and Olifants)

So if anyone wants to see a specific bungalow, hut or view, just let me know and I will go find it for you...

Thank you for making this thread so user friendly. So much easier to look on page 1 and click immediately on the camp and type of accommodation requested .

Much easier than going thru 48 pages to look for a certain camp etc.

Well done :k

Now the decision - :hmz:

Any recomendations - have booked a BD3U unit at Lower Sabie in December and staying there for 5 nights

Would like one that is not TOO close to the restaurant, but one that has a good view plus shade

Any ideas?

Thanks

Hi Marge-when are you going? We have just returned from LS and stayed in No81 (BD2U) and had building going on at units 95-94 (close to Keartland House) so if you are going soon try to keep away from them.We were not bothered by noise in our unit and all have lovely views of the river and are shady. I'm not sure which are the BD3U's but I should imagine all face the river and we didn't hear restaurant noise even when we walked towards Steenbok Guest house.Wonderful to sit on your patio and watch warthogs and Kudu browsing against the fence :clap:You will find photos on Pg 1 of this thread of both No81 and N079 and will get a good idea as to the views.
