Hello Roaneric,
It is a wonderful effort on your part, in listing some of the better huts. One of the biggest problems is that new hut listings are often different to their listings on the present SanParks maps. We presume that the numbering is consistent, however.
My partner and I are confused by your description for Pretoriuskop - where you describe hut 117 as FF6D. We stayed in hut 117 a number of times, and it was a 2 bed hut. Hut 114 is the last of the bigger huts located at 109-114.

Are there any pictures available from the refurbished units at Olifants?

Just curious how they look like after the makeover

Hi Wildebeeste

Where did you see that I described number 117 as a FF6D? As far as I know it is a 2 bed unit and I also said in this post that it's a 2 bed?

Hi Helsinki

Which units do you mean? The only upgrade that I have pictures of is the BD3U unit that we stayed in #108

And this is the upgraded one BD3U #107

That view from the bed is absolutely dreadful, isn't it, suebfly? I'd far rather be looking at a minedump in Boksburg, or maybe even a rubbish dump, wouldn't you?

I know Porridge we have to go thru such hardship when we go to Kruger - and we keep going back and back and back just to suffer it all again and again
