This little Pan is situated at the corner of the S114 & S118 juction. Was lucky enough to spot 5 Lions there about a week ago.
Has anyone else had any interesting sightings over there?

I stop fairly regularly there on my drives. Have found hyenas, lions, ellies, rhinos, impalas there. Once a hippo in the waterhole rolling over and over and looking very funny! Also a leopard on the other side of the road. Oh, and wild dogs too.
Smiling is contagious. Start an epidemic today!

Have you read the entrance permit? Do you KNOW the Conditions of Entry?

Completed over 6 years in Kruger in my caravan.

If I was normal I wouldn't be me!

Sounds like a good place to chill 8)

I have seen Wilddog a bit futher on, just after Gardenia hide. I have found the S119 a little gem, regardless of sightings. I just like the road.

Gunner thanks for those great pictures.

I was the sole human to witness a wild dog pack kill an impala there , back in the good days im 1987 - the day the SAA Boeing 747 Helderberg crashed east of Mauritius .
I arrived back at B & Dal 40 minutes late .
KNP is sacred. I am opposed to the modernisation of Kruger and from the depths of my soul long for the Kruger of yesteryear! 1000+km on foot in KNP incl 56 wild trails.200+ nights in the wildernessndloti-indigenous name for serval.

We saw leopard in that vicinity during May 2012 and prior to that lion. This year January we did not drive in that area. But it looks like a good place or area where a person might see wild dogs.

I was in this area quite a bit this past December.
Can't recall having seen anything at this junction.
But the S118 and S119 were great for sightings.

What is happening to the S118? It is closed for a while now. It limits ones drive around Berg&Dal even more. Such a nice peaceful road to travel
