For me it would have to be the H4-2, or the s28. in the mornings these two roads are prime. Hence the reason why Corocodile gate is so jam packed at 4:30 in the morning!!

Oh I do Love Crocodile Bridge in November, December and January because you get the s28 or h4-2 all to yourself before the day visitors come in 8)

S65 for many of you. I have found it to be rather quiet, except a few years ago at the junction with the Pkop tar road, some wild dogs came walking up it.

The S65 has been very kind to us over the past few years - lion, wild dog and leopard regularly

we enjoy driving the S1 - the scenery is excellent and this road has been very rewarding to us in the past, also the S28, we've had lion and cheetah within a km of each other. my two favourites!

Exactly. In the last few visits I have seen a kudu and some impala on Eloff Street, and not much more on the S100.

But the N7 has been good and so has the S25.

And turning towards Kgalagadi.

Sorry, should have been the H7, but you can do a lot worse than the N7.

:hmz: whether the best road(s) in Kruger for game viewing remain the same during the more busy December holiday month or do the game move to the more quiet areas where the traffic are less?

I don't think the game move from the traffic :hmz:
But I do think school holidays are a better time to take less travelled dirt roads, and out of season is a good time to try the main roads 8)

The game goes where the best food & water is.

After the rains both are plentiful, and the bush is thick.

After my recent trip to Kruger, I will have to revise my best road. Definately the S100
We had some fantastic sightings along there the few times we drove it.
