Good morning

What can we expect from this accomodation, this is a permeter bungalow, we have previously stayed at Addo and found the accomodation excellent.

Hi Lesleybi, welcome to the forum.

The BD2U bungalows have recently been refurbished and are very nice. You aren't quite on the fence but near enough that you will have wonderful views of the river.

Lesleybi - welcome

The BD2U's are wonderful accommodation - you will enjoy the view. Even at night you can open the curtains and from your bed, you will have a look on the river - especially when it is full moon :D you will be able to see hippos on the sand banks ...

So, a silly question here.
We have managed to get into Lower Sabie for our last 2 nights in Kruger in March. Unbelievable!
We have a BD2 with "kitchenette on the veranda".
And now the silly question: does this mean that we have utinsels, i.e. cutlery etc.?

watershed, the newly refurbished BD2’s kitchens are fully stocked with crockery and cutlery. Word of advice, take your own ‘braai’ set, tin opener, bottle opener (just in case the ones provided dont work all that well and because you will use those maybe elsewhere  ) and if you’re fuzzy about certain drinks out of certain glasses, pack some champagne glasses and ‘fish bowl’ red wine glasses or whatever you fancy. I prefer packing my own large coffee mugs, those provided in camp remains too small for this caffeine junky

Thank you, RemiE. The tip about the tin opener is good. We usually take our own glasses with us and this time around I am going to pack proper mugs for coffee. Those cups are just too small !
