Heksie, thanks for the reply :gflower: but the EH3 type of accommodation is not listed under Lower Sabie, I looked at that topic first but could not find any photographs

We stayed in the FU5 unit from 26-30 September, and what a disappointment. This is the 2nd time we have stayed in these units(the previous time 2 years ago) and the manner in which they have gone down is unacceptable.Cupboard doors not closing properly or hanging skew, aircons not working properly and then you pay R1500+ a day for this.I travel regularly all over this country and have stayed in better up kept units that cost much less. Then there is the matter of the construction going on next door-even over weekends!Already planning the next trip but will definitely not stay here again until all construction is finished. And yes I have filled in the feedback form.

Hi Nimrod :yaya:

The riverview tents at LS are absolutely amazing! I've stayed @ nr 19 and the view was spectacular, we had hippos grazing with kudus and buffs sleeping in front of our tent. But I have heard tha nr 20 and 27 have great views as well

We have stayed in the tents not on the river front, and they are almost as good, with birds in surrounding shrubs and trees and a peaceful feel!

I sent an email to the person in charge of allocating accommodation at Lower Sabie requesting a specific EH3 unit. I got my information from the map of the camp. I got a response saying that the EH3 accommodation that is shown on the camp map is actually the EH5 accommodation. I requested a corner hut as I do not want to be in the middle, as it happens we have been allocated number 51. Is it on the end or in the middle of the row? Please can somebody/anybody shed some light on this confusing situation that has arisen?

From this map it seems that number 51 (just below the Moffat guest house) is in the middle of a row, sorry Tent dweller.
I might be wrong though.

Matthys, I requested unit number 49 or 54 (EH3) accommodation and the "person in charge of allocations" said that the map is incorrect and the numbers that I requested are in actual type EH5 accommodation   so where are type EH3 huts if the map is incorrect????

I think the end unit 49, on previous page, in Crested Val's photo, is a 5 sleeper, 50 being a 3 sleeper and I think 51 is a 3 sleeper. At the other end is another 5 sleeper so the 3 sleepers are between the 5 sleepers.

My apologies for any inconvenience caused by the fact that the camp layout map is outdated. We have asked the relevant colleagues in the KNP to send through updated maps. I will follow up with them today to see where they are in the process and provide you with feedback ASAP.

Hi Charles
We are unfortunately still awaiting the revised/updated maps from our colleagues in the Kruger. But it is in process. My apologies for the inconvenience.
