TD, we stayed in 32 in Feb, and I do not recall having much of a view. But it was a lovely, newly renovated cottage, and we enjoyed or stay there a great deal. The nightjars were so entertaining as they seemed to fly just in front of the cottage and settle in the trees opposite.

It now has a full kitchen on the verandah 8)

We stayed in 36 once, it had a not too bad view, if I can remember correctly the FQU14V was basically in front of us, but we still had some kind of view of the Olifantss river.

Maybe when it's close to your stay in December, you could maybe try and ask if they can allocate 36 to you.

TD, so envious right now.
When you and your family are driving around Olifants we still have to wait a whole month before we get to do so too. :slap:
Btw, I see that the long awaited swimming pool would possibly be done by the time you guys get there, not that swimming features on the ‘to do’ list, but a nice way of cooling off in the Sumer heat nevertheless.
Looking forward to your TR

Hi all

We are travelling to Olifants in June 2015. Is there a progress update on the refurbishment? Will all the accommodation have kitchen facilities by then? :hmz:

Thanks

Mark

Hi Mark, I think we can just keep tabs in here and able to get a better idea of how the renovations are progressing nearer the time.
but I can't imagine they would not be done in 6 months time.
especially in light of the announcement by Stephens.

Tentdweller if you mean the ones that face East - BD3U then go for 111 or 110 there are no trees in front that block the view - I posted photos on the ACCOMMODATION PHOTOS thread - you can lie on the bed and watch the river and animals - heaven
