I hope Scipio was not too scared PetraJ … At Mooiplaas the elephants also can relocate everyone to the ablutions very quickly. Not sure if it still like that :)

Ha ha Grantmissy, they surprised him just as he came out of the ablutions... well, he had to go back thereafter :twisted: now we are not allowed to exit the car unless he had a good look around :D

The arcaelogical display and structures appears rather tatty , the protective roofs covering some structures from rain & sun have collapsed
When visiting in January the attendant guide informed that money has been budgeted for its upkeep and refurbishment .

Can this be confirmed ?

I do know that a survey of all sites in Kruger is being planned with a view to a comprehensive Interpretation policy on displays, signage, etc. Any improvements may have to wait for this, unless already on budgets.
