Hey Roger, hope you and Elina are doing fine with all the flooding in the park, but up to now it seemed that like Mopani and Tsendze is safe.

Yes, saw you (Roger) in the "go" magazine too! And not for the first time, Roger and Elina has been in plenty magazines!

To Rodger and Elinah - please let us know if you guys and your families are ok.

See on the latest report that Tsendze is also closed? Anyone with more information? Was the camp also flooded or is it about access?

Td, cheetah2111, superm and naomic, am at home, I came here b4 the rain on the 11 January, till the second of Feb, but Elina phoned me, she is staying at Mopani camp this time because of the rain, camp closed, but I have no idea from now, but I will find out what was the problem after rain, thanks a lot everyone great people.

Hi Super Mongoose! Am working on my trip report but it is slow going.

I was there with 2 othe groups of campers on Monday 21 January when they closed the camp. The camp was not flooded but became rather a muddy mess due to the heavy rains that fell. I think the closing was a precautionary measure.

Any pics? It is now a week later and the camp is still closed? Mooiplaas picnic spot right next to Tsendze is open though?

I phoned Mopani (this is where you book your stand) and the nice lady at reception told me that our booking for March will stay as it is and Tsendze should open soon after it dried out and they fixed a few things.
