Yes, most definitely.

My guess is a Big Cat as well.... the stance and profile appears to be that of a cheetah but maybe too tall? guessing from the distance from the camera/WH...

the other shots looks like the Lion that has popped in from to time to time lately.... Just a guess though.

Would be TOOO COOL if it was a Cheetah WHOA!!!
I'll take a day in nature over an office cubicle any day.

WHOA!!

1st and 2nd, very much cheetah.

The rest, very much male lion.

Great sightings, kat. Well done !

Let me play Devil's Advocate here ...

I'm saying that all the pics are of Lions. The 1st being a female followed by a male (mating pair?) ...

The reason I say this is if you look at the time that they came past there I would not think the Cheetah to be so calm and in the open with the lion on it's heels .. def. the Cheetah would have smelled the lion and either one ... make like haste and move quickly and not be there for more than 2 frames or would have found a hiding place ...

Also looking at the size of the 2 animals present .. the image of the animal is way to large to be a cheetah and comparing the sizes to the Male Lion .. it has to be either 1 .. a Record Size Cheetah or a female Lion ..

So, my conclusion would be a male and female lion ...

BUT still a great capture Kat!! ...

Reminds me of the debate we had early last year with the "Wild dog" and also "Leopard or Cheetah" ...

Thanks for capturing and showing us the images.
