I think that the issue is that Photobucket is getting the picture from the server. Effectively, by clicking on "Upload to Photobucket" you are saying "go get the latest Orpen photo from the server" (in America!). If you've got a slow connection or try and upload after the pic has been updated on the server, you'll get the next one - or the one after - or the one after that!

What I do when there is a really good sighting is to try the upload but at the same time save the picture onto my hard drive as it appears on the screen (I use the windows snipping tool). If I miss the picture on the photobucket upload, I upload manually to Photobucket. This takes much longer than the auto upload so there's a good chance of someone else having posted the photo - but better to make certain that the great sightings are available for everyone to see rather than miss it entirely.

Hope that this helps

 Paul.

I asked DuQues about this and he said we (Cammers) :

upload straight from the server, hence get that newer version.

Photobucket has changed the "view" of their site !

When you "manually" upload photos, the codes are not generated and you have to first generate the codes, then copy the forum code?

has anyone found a quicker way to get the codes as done previously, loaded with the picture?

This really makes me not want to save manually

Thanks for your quick replies, Toko and Matthys!

Now I hope that all those who couldn't see the pics uploaded with imageshack
are able to see that as well. It's uploaded with pepperpics as I am having
massive problems with tinypic myself, imageshack doesn't do the trick
for everyone and photobucket is unconvenient for camming, IMHO.
