You might have seen some moving around of the webcam at Addo during today. That was me programming new presets on the webcam to see if it resolves the issue of it moving to a position which is not a preset position at all and refusing to move from there.

I could not leave the ellies and babies out of the picture and stopped programming while they were in view!

I have reduced the number of stops/presets on the webcam to see if it helps and also programmed it into a new tour. I have also excluded the waterhole out of picture on the far left for now.

I tried it with the existing tour and it got stuck again as before. So bear with us during these tests. If the cam is faulty/needs a firmware upgrade, at least I want to tell the manufacturers what is wrong (more or less!).

Thanks for you patience!
Happy viewing!

Pleasure!

I have added the one position to the Addo webcam tour a few minutes ago where the Brown Hooded Kingfisher (hope the id is correct) sat earlier on tonight. It might go back there as it is using this portion of the hide as a perch to 'hunt' from.

We might be seeing an owl hopefully as well. If there is no activity on this 'perch' our feathered friends are hopefully using, I'll remove it from the tour again.

Enjoy!

Attention all cammers!

We do realise that you are frustrated with the fact that the cams do not refresh automatically (yet) when you have all 4 webcams on one page. :wall:

The development team is aware of this and it will be fixed! They are just quite busy fixing other issues on the new look/feel website as well.

Please bear with us! It will be resolved soon! All 4 webcams will refresh again on the one page as before soon! :D

Happy camming!

Noticed that cams keep sticking, even when they`re back `on`. This used to happen a lot, but not so much recently (till now).

Please could the cams go back to two by two (side by side) instead of four in a vertical column!

Scot, but they ARE 2x2! For me they are not in a vertical column, and has never been! What software are you using?

Scot - Some 'mites had the same problem as you a little while ago, but not sure how they corrected it? At the same time others were 2 x 2?

Perhaps look through the "forum problems" thread in Chill Room

Fortunately I have not had this happen to me yet!!

thanks for replies, bishop and Katja. First time this has happened to me, so don`t think it can be software (not quite sure what you mean by that, though, bishop). Happened for first time yesterday, up to then has always been as in your pic, b.

Funny... :hmz:

Software? Basically operating system (Windows, Apple, etc.) and web browser.
