personal sound effects

Dear Danie,

Thanks for zooming the various cams at odd moments and giving us 'mites such fun. Especially Nossob at the moment.

Truly appreciated.

Nossob webcam is stuck in one position (wide angle view of the water hole) at the moment :( -it does not want to move or zoom!

I have sent a message to Nossob (no telephones there!) for possible physical assistance with the cam....we'll have to wait and see!

Danie did a magnificent job yesterday  and I can not thank him enough. I don't think we realise how much time he spent to make the wonderful sightings possible !

Danie, I trust you realise just how much we all appreciate your giving up your free time for our enjoyment. It was an experience I'm sure we will all remember for a long time. Oh! for that expertise.
Thanks again

Danie, you gave us a day at the cam on Friday that we will all remember for a long time. You made many people all over the world very happy and there is really no other way for most of us to reach you except through this Forum. I can oly add to what the others have said (and more will say) how much I appreciate your work. We do not take your effort for granted and we are very grateful for your persistent dedication to the Forum.

The nail has been well and truly hit on the head.

This forum is awesome. Nossob cam and all thanks to Danie has had the US, Australia (SA is thumping them at the moment and please please NO offence taken by anyone I hope), Norway, the UK and other places I have probably missed, all together for an incredible moment.

I thinks thanks also go to the 'mites that donated to make this event possible. Well done.

have a lekker (super) Sunday.

Jane

I never saw a leopard up until last year in July. I was driving around somewhere near Berg-en-Dal after i had got petrol there, when the leopard just walked onto the dirt road right in front of us, passed our car, continued walking down the road behind that for about 150m, and then silently disappeared into the bush again  .
Berg-en-Dal wasn't actually part of our route as we wanted to get from Croc Bridge to Afsaal to meet my Parents, but i noticed i needed petrol, and was the closest source of petrol from where we were at the time.
The next morning on the way to our morning walk the guide spotted another leopard lying about 30m away on the other side of a riverbed. :cam:
So that was 2 Leopards in 2 days.

Don't give up hope guys, you just have to be lucky...!

Here are some screenshots of the first one:

Light gets too hot and cuts out, then it cools down and comes back on, until it gets too hot again...

How come that I get these funny coloured stripes in my pic? It surely is a fault of my computer. But what exactly could be wrong?

It's also exactly the way I sometimes see the pics on webcams. :hmz:
