Nope, sorry, not as yet, but I can only believe it will not be too much longer now.

I have yes, suppose using a plastic teaspoon might be to blame  Oh and the drought, the ground is so darn hard now!!!

I tried to have a look when we were there in early Dec - if I could see any lines or trenches to where the cam will go ... and I did see one freshly covered one, and one only half way. I was so tempted to take a pic of the one only half way and bring it back to you guys :P

I posted a complaint about the delay under the topic Compliments & complaints. Christo took me on a bit .I got the dates on this topic and I know all formulites are nice people because all real nature lovers are NICE PEOPLE. I retired two years ago and joined in 2006 to make a contribution towards this cam.I am fanatic about nature myself and am nice and not concerned about my contribution, but towards some contributors who made substantial ones and I will again say that the delay of more than two & a half years is worrisome. Just look at all the inquiries on this topic. I will keep reading all your topics and watching your and the cam pictures .

I'm also HIGHLY DISSAPOINTED!!!

2 and half years is REALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!! :naughty:

Is this how long it takes to get things done in AFRICA???

We are not talking about launching a rocket into space here, it's a simple WEBCAM and it's not even in a remote region like the kalahari... This is 60km away from Port Elizabeth... A Major City...

When can we expect to see results???

Message from Norman Johnson, Park Manager, Addo Elephant National Park :

Quote:
There was a lot of hiccups with the implementation of the webcam since this was only possible once we have completed the construction of the interpretive centre in Addo. This has however been achieved and the webcam infrastructure as well. The webcam is currently on site, have been tested and should be operational by the end of March.

Thank you for all the support in making this possible. I hope the webcam would give all a lot of pleasure and satisfaction in future.

Kind regards
Norman Johnson

Thank you, Norman ! :D

End of March? Long weekend now, so hopefully we will see movement in this coming week or two?

Do we have any news about the CAM? It is the 23rd of April already?
We saw a mysterious picture a while back - perhaps a web cam? but no answer to the Quiz?
