Yes good morning to all.
I did not know that !And it is an interessting fact as well as we will arrive in SA Sunday morning
All the bags are packed and we are leaving tonight.

@ KDU - the banks/post offices etc will be closed on Monday but large retail stores will be open, certainly in the morning, so just take that into account. (Have a super trip! You must be very excited! I hope you have a great time in our wonderful country)

Is that a HIPPO!!!!!!!
@ Meg - We are due to arrive at Lower Sabie (via my favourite gate Croc Bridge) on Friday am....I am really looking forward to it. I can't wait to put all the things I have learnt on this forum into practice!

Oh Meg that is funny! I am not going to edit my post now so others can enjoy your joke! I just got so excited and want to post the sighting quickly so others could see it and so the typing got very muddled! Definitly was not refering to you

The hippo must have been on its way back to the Timbavati River?

I bet s/he wasn't impressed by the lack of water in the WH - wonder if s/he'll visit again.

The cam seems to be hicuping along very slowly....

Hippo can travel far from their 'home' water sources. They also follow set paths so maybe this chap/ess will pass the cam again and again?

@ Bert - you were missed last night, see yesterday's sightings thread.......

Yes it is amazing that in whole Park (about the size of Israel) the hippo walked in front of the little area the cam covers! Quite a 'high'! That is why we watch an empty cam for hours - for those highs!!

The cam is moving forward at half real time at the moment! (Allows for a lot more multi tasking!! )

Wow, a hippo. 8)

Is the cam stuck at 5.25 or is it catching up in super slow motion?
