Zebra's - 12:48. at last some game!

I saw an elephant and some buffalo this morning. The cam seems to be stuck at the moment: 15.05

Hahaha - Goliath herons often stand round for a long while but I didn't notice the time at the bottom. Have been jumping back to the cam every couple of minutes for around 2 hours now. Doh!

krokodile. It took me about an hour.

By my own admission I had a blonde moment - have been showing the entire household the heron that didn't move for hours! But it did make a cool shadow

See, I told you the cam goes down every weekend! Maybe Sergeant Pepper is at it again!!!!!

Have you noticed its about 19:00 and its dark in the park already and its still completely daylight here in Cape Town

You do realise that geographically you live in a different time zone? The fact that we choose to ignore this as a nation is beside the point.

How is our dear mountain? Still wowing the masses we hope!

Its fine, and no doubt the cableway is full! Mountain, Kruger,.. I know which one I'll choose.

Did anyone see the hyena on the cam earlier on. I did but it was only there for one photo and then disappeared. I submitted it to the cam page.

There was some smaller animal after that as well. Might have been a jackal, not sure. I also submitted 2 pics. Maybe Danie can help identify what it was.

Aaaargh! I wasn't looking and missed it! I havent actually seen anything apart from birdies on the cam yet - I have missed all the ellies, lions, antelopes etc - Murphy's Law or do the animals 'know' when I am viewing and so stay away?

Hey!! You have families...you can't wathc the cam 24/7...not if I can't...

Lot's of interesting things happening in the night...

Mostly lots of bugs! This was the first time I've seen anything at night!

I must admit I've been luckier than Bwana. Saw lots of buffalo, a few elephants, 3 lionesses, the resident owl also makes regular appearances, hyena and quite a few other night birds.
