Yesterday I got tired of the office and difficult clients and everything else, and grabbed my camera, binoculars and bird books and headed off for a quick trip to the Faan Meintjies nature reserve.

Since I am still a novice birder, I would appreciate it if you guys can help check my Pipit and Lark ID's? I enjoy the challenge, but they are difficult. Still lots to learn, which is why I'm practicing hard. :D

This bird was posing beautifully. I'm relatively confident in ID'ing it as a rufous-naped lark, but please confirm?

Thank you so much for your help! :k

Mel123, I think you are spot on with your ID's.

You're definitely right with Rufous-naped Lark.
